Thoughts after 02-09-07 Class

So glad to see the class regain some ground this past weekend!! The topic that we really dove into was creating a learning object that is auditory in nature. This really excites me because it's something that I really enjoy working with. Being a television/photography junkie the past 6 years of my life, I've dealt with audio in several different mediums. I've dealt with the obvious news stories...but I've also dealt with it as a radio host my freshman and sophomore year in college, and as in a class I took that had all students creating audio radio spots for both non-profit organizations and retail organizations. Audio can be just as powerful a tool as the written word. It really depends on how you deliver the information you're delivering. The more engaging you are, the better chance you have of attracting people to what you're talking about. Also, linking audio with the printed picture can be appealing as well. It allows people to make connections on their own and come to their own conclusions. I look forward to diving head first into the assignment for this week, and I'm looking forward to the tools we learn later on in the class!!
